Our inspiration for sustainability is in the form of diligently making animal protection and care attractive to society, being less dependent on competing donor funds and as well ensuring that communities and governments across Africa make animal welfare a top priority.
In this endeavor, we continue to develop and initiate activities that generate income to the organization which (income) is fully directed towards implementing projects geared towards promoting animal welfare.
Through our sustainability initiatives, we are also committed to working with communities in addressing the root causes that drive them to engage in inhumane and environmental destructive practices such as poaching/snaring, charcoal burning etc. Such sustainability initiatives already in place include snare artifacts, basket weaving, waatha cultural center, brick making and the Kifaru House.
